O for a Thousand Tongues

For SATB choir with piano accompaniment
I hope your choir will enjoy singing this piece as much as I enjoyed composing the music for it. Here’s the first stanza:

O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise;
The glories of my God and King,
The honors of His praise!

—Charles Wesley

As believers, there are times when we feel our praise is inadequate for what God really deserves. Yet—amazingly—He still desires our praise (John 4:23). And so, to the best of our ability, and with every part of our being, we should genuinely strive to offer our greatest praise to God. He is worthy of it!
